Frankfort Transit will be stopping service at 3:00 P.M. on February 10, 2021 and will not provide ANY SERVICES on Thursday February 11, 2021.

Frankfort Transit will continue offering services included in the transitional routes phase I. In addition, due to higher ridership, east route will now have a second bus. This bus will run 30 minutes after the first bus from 9:15am-5:05pm.
SATURDAY / HOLIDAY SERVICE HOURS AND DESTINATIONS WILL REMAIN THE SAME.

Frankfort Transit is a public service operated by the City of Frankfort. F/T provides several services including, Four Deviated- Fixed Routes, Demand Response, JOBS, Saturday Routes and Seasonal Trolley. Our drivers are trained to assist passengers with disabilities.
THE FRANKFORT TRANSIT SYSTEM
Provides four deviated-fixed routes in which buses will stop at designated bus stops and shelters.
Bus service runs from
6:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.,
Mon. - Fri.
8:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
These routes provide full coverage of all major shopping centers, doctor offices, hospital, senior citizen complex and most state office buildings. A printed schedule is available at City Hall or upon request from a route bus driver.
ROUTE BUSES MAY RUN UP TO 10 MINUTES LATE/EARLY DUE TO RIDERSHIP, TRAFFIC AND OR WEATHER CONDITIONS

Our Downtown Trolley Route is FREE to riders to visit downtown Historic sites, restaurants and shops. Trolley service is provided April-October.
Deviated Fixed Routes are open to the general public and person(s) with and without disabilities.
DEVIATIONS: These routes keep a set timetable; the buses can provide deviations up to ¾ mile off the route to specific location for door to door service. Deviations cost $.50 one way.
IMPORTANT: 24hr. Notice is required to make a reservation. Deviations must be scheduled before 2:30 p.m., the day before. Due to limited space, trips will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis. The maximum advanced time allowed to make reservations is one week. For Reservations Call (502) 875-8565.
Demand Response/ J.O.B
Demand Response operates in the city limits of Frankfort, providing one way, door to door service, depending on the needs of the passengers and if there is not an accessible deviated-fixed route.
Monday through Friday 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
