Cove Spring Park / Nature Preserve consists of approximately 240 acres of natural and historic features, including:
  • Forested ravines
  • Springs
  • Streams
  • Waterfalls
  • Wetlands

The park is intended for activities such as:
  • Environmental education
  • Hiking
  • Nature observation
  • Picnicking
  • Walking

Features


Cove Springs Park includes amenities and features, such as:

  • 3 miles of trails and elevated walkways with interpretive signs (partially handicapped accessible)
  • 2 interpretive shelters with displays on the natural and historic features of the park / preserve
  • Archery range
  • Children’s Memorial
  • Restrooms
  • Shelter and picnic facilities
  • Sky Trail


There is also a full-time employee who lives on the premises.

Location


The park is located at the northern city limits, off U.S. 127 / Holmes Street.
