APPLYING FOR A RECRUIT POLICE OFFICER OR RECRUIT FIREFIGHTER POSITION
Applications are accepted during open recruiting periods, or in response to a job announcement. Applicants must be at least 21 years old at time of appointment.
REQUIRED INFORMATION
For consideration, applications must include a copy of your actual Birth Certificate (issued by the state department of Vital Statistics), your valid driver’s license, and your high school diploma. If applicable, you must also include your DD214, college transcript(s), and / or relevant certifications.
RECRUITMENT PROCESS
The recruiting process for Fire and Police recruits is implemented on a once a year basis unless circumstances require more frequent recruitment.
