APPLYING FOR A RECRUIT POLICE OFFICER OR RECRUIT FIREFIGHTER POSITION
Applications are accepted during open recruiting periods, or in response to a job announcement. Applicants must be at least 21 years old for the Police Department and 19 years old for the Fire Department at time of appointment.
For consideration, applications must include a copy of your actual Birth Certificate (issued by the state department of Vital Statistics), your valid driver’s license, and your high school diploma. If applicable, you must also include your DD214, college transcript(s), and / or relevant certifications.
