Beginning on Tuesday April 7, 2020 the City of Frankfort Division of Solid Waste will begin collecting your yard waste and piles of brush. Small limbs and debris can be placed in either 32gal. garbage cans, brown paper yard waste bags or prepaid City overflow bag weighing less than 50lbs. Larger limbs must be cut in 6ft lengths, with cut ends to the street not crisscrossed in piles no taller than 3ft and longer than 10ft.
We will continue to collect the City trash and recycle carts and up to two (2) bags of trash (any color) or up to six (6) prepaid City overflow bags outside of the cart. These bags cannot weigh more than 50lbs, along with bulky items. All carts and trash need to be out by 7am, carts need to be spaced at least 3 feet apart from other carts, trees, mailboxes and not blocked by vehicles.
The Electronic waste drop off is closed until further notice. Recycle material drop off containers located at 309 Rouse Ave. for paper, cardboard and other items are still open during this time.
Please keep at least 6ft from anyone else while dropping off material. All containers at the recycle center are all marked for their contents.
