Juniper Hill, dedicated in 1956, is the city’s oldest park; it encompasses 124 acres including 94 acres in the golf course. It is located on the west side of Frankfort, just off Louisville Road (U.S. 60). It was dedicated in 1956 and offers the following facilities:
- 18 hole golf course with pro shop
- 4 lighted Tennis Courts
- 3 horseshoe pits
- 2 lighted sand volleyball courts
- 2 shelters with electricity (capacity of 100 people)
- Administrative offices
- Aquatic Center
- Gazebo
- Memorials, including:
- Desert Storm Memorial
- Purple Heart Memorial
- State Fire Memorial to Fallen Firefighters
- World War 2 Submarine Memorial
- Picnic area with grills
- Playground (by shelter)
